Perinatal mental health concerns are those that arise or worsen during pregnancy and the first year postpartum.
If you are experiencing any of the problems listed below, Dr. Snow is here to help and you are welcome to book an initial appointment.
- Perinatal anxiety (e.g., excessive worry, panic attacks, physical symptoms)
- Perinatal depression (e.g., persistent sadness, loss of interest, fatigue)
- Perinatal stress and trauma-related symptoms stemming from difficult experiences during pregnancy, labour, and delivery (e.g., intrusive thoughts, avoidance, hyperarousal)
- Perinatal obsessive compulsive symptoms (e.g., intrusive thoughts, obsessions, compulsions)
- Perinatal adjustment difficulties (e.g., feeling overwhelmed, struggling to cope with pregnancy or life postpartum)
- Grief or other difficult feelings related to pregnancy loss (e.g., miscarriage, loss for medical reasons, and stillbirth) and stressful perinatal experiences
1. Background information
Once you book your initial appointment, you will be emailed Hatch Psychology Inc.'s intake forms that provide a bit more information about Dr. Snow, Hatch Psychology Inc. policies and services, and provide space for you to share a bit about yourself, including what is going well and what you hope could be different that is motivating you to seek therapy at this time.
2. Initial appointment
Your initial appointment will be scheduled for 75-minutes and currently billed at $315.00. This extended initial session ensures enough time to better get to know you, explore your needs, goals, and begin crafting a collaborative treatment plan. You are invited to book an initial appointment by clicking the link below.
3. Follow-up sessions
Follow-up sessions are 50-minutes long and currently billed at $210.00. In your 'follow-up' sessions we will work together to deepen your understanding of what matters to you and what changes you would like to make, get curious about and process anything that might be getting in your way, build skills to enhance your resilience, and help you to feel empowered to start making the changes you are longing for. Follow-up sessions are typically discussed and booked together in session.
